Every week we feature adoptable pets from across Alaska. To the best of our knowledge, each pet is still available, and we encourage you to follow the links to find out more about these animals and the shelters that are caring for them.
Roddie is an adult male Yorkshire Terrier Yorkie. Would love to be adopted with Duchess, his housemate of several years, but it is not required. Has only one eye due to another dog. He does well with children (we prefer 7 yrs and over) and must meet other potential housemates. Housebroken and crate trained. Loves to go for walks.
This boy is clearly special and would love to keep his best friend around. If Roddie (and Duchess?) might be right for you, learn all about him HERE.
Arctic is a sweet girl who is 8 years old. She is very friendly and always waits center stage whenever volunteers and visitors come to the shelter. She is waiting for her forever home, please stop by and see her.
Unlike her name, this cat is warm and loving. See if she is right for you by going HERE.
Two Socks is a 6 month old GSD/Husky mix female. Great with other dogs and was told from past owners she is great with cats and children too. Two Socks is kennel trained but also does very well unsupervised in the house.
Two socks sounds like the perfect pet. She is waiting for you HERE!
Rose is a small adult female Guinea Pig. She is a cutie patootie to boot! Take her home by learning more HERE.
Kali & KT
Kali and KT are life-long friends and they need to be adopted together if at all possible. Both are quite shy at first but warm up later. Kali (the Calico) is more independent. However as time goes on, she shows more affection and will seek to be around you. Likes to hang out with you by the computer.
KT (black tabby) is quite the love sponge and loves to land on your lap. Likes to be near you and especially likes ear rubs.
Both have good house manners and uses litter box well.
What a pair! If you think your home has room for all this love, learn more HERE.
