Take Me Home Tonight: Adoptable Pets from Alaska Shelters

Every week we feature adoptable pets from across Alaska. To the best of our knowledge, each pet is still available, and we encourage you to follow the links to find out more about these animals and the shelters that are caring for them.

Alaskas Extended Life Animal Sanctuary (Nikiski)

Ambrosia is shy and will need a quiet and safe home. She love people. When I pick her up she purrs and seems content. She is terrified of other cats and dogs. She may settle in with a friendly older cat or dog.

Luna and Solar

This happy pair, Luna & Solar, are playful, very personable, and highly affectionate.  They love being together and must be adopted together. They’re litterbox trained, can walk on a leash, and ride fine in the car. They’ve lived with kids, like being held, groomed, and enjoy sitting in your lap. Luna (9 months old) is the spayed female, Solar (7 months) is the neutered male.

Loving, super cute, and highly entertaining!  Make your home a ferret home by learning more HERE.

Kenai Animal Shelter

Mugg is a very friendly boy. He’s eaten well during his lifetime. We really don’t know much else about this boy yet other than he’s very nice and would love to go home with someone. He looks like a beagle but he’s built like a tank.

Kitty and K-9 Connection (Anchorage)

Tulio is an eleven year old bundle of love! He knows how to bark but is generally very quiet, he love sitting on laps and hanging out with his people. This little cutie pie has had most of his teeth removed but is doing just fine without them.
