Every week I’m going to feature adoptable pets and events surrounding pet adoption from across Alaska. To the best of my knowledge, each of these pets are still available, and I encourage you to follow the links to find out more about these animals and the shelters that are caring for them.

AK Cat (Wasilla)

Unnamed Siamese
Unnamed Siamese

In desperate need for a barn home for a pair of beautiful Siamese sisters. These poor girls have lived their whole life fending for themselves. They are under a year, and in fabulous shape….obviously very successful hunters. If you know anyone with a barn to offer, please pass this message on. These girls will be spayed and be invisible, but really need a barn.

Please! These girls do not deserve to be euthanized because they are crabby!

Alaska Bird Club (Anchorage)

Finches
Finches

There are about 16 finches here that need good homes. They are zebra finches. they lived in the hallway of an elementary school for a while and have been displaced due to student allergy concerns. The current foster home would love to adopt them out as one group, but would be fine letting them go in smaller groups.

Finches are fabulous! Make your home a finch home by learning more HERE.

Alaskan Animal Rescue Friends (Anchorage)

Teyla
Teyla

Teyla needs a forever home. She is such a sweet girl and has been waiting so long! Teyla is about 10yrs old and is a pitty mix. She would be best as an only pet but could do okay with another dog depending on the situation. This little girl has so much spunk and personality so don’t let her age bother you!! Give our little lady gray a chance at a great home for her “golden years”!

Old dogs need love too. If Teyla melts your heart, learn more HERE.

Clear Creek Cat Rescue (Talkeetna)

Charles
Charles

Charles is pretty darn cute and in need of a forever home. Does fine with all other other cats in the house and doesn’t seem fazed by the presence of a dog. Young fellow who was wearing a harness when rescued so he would like to go outside sometimes.

If you want Charles in charge of your home, learn more HERE.
