Take Me Home Tonight: Adoptable Pets from Alaska Shelters

Every week, I’m going to feature adoptable pets and events surrounding pet adoption from across Alaska. To the best of my knowledge, each of these pets are still available, and I encourage you to follow the links to find out more about these animals and the shelters that are caring for them.
Alaskan Animal Rescue Friends (Anchorage)
We don’t often include puppies here, (because they usually have no problem getting adopted), but….Dottie is one cute nugget!! Soon to need a home!

Bethel Friends of Canines

Meet Ursa! Ursa is an older Chocolate Lab. She is a bit chubby so she needs a home that can help her burn off a few of those calories. Ursa is a really nice dog-very quiet, extremely well behaved, house broken-the whole 9 yards! She does well with other dogs. If you would like to adopt Ursa please send us a message with your email so we can get you an adoption questionnaire.

Haines Animal Rescue Kennel

He is great with dogs and other cats. He’s a little shy when you first meet him but he’s a talker and a snuggler (and very playful) once he gets acquainted. He’s also very striking with ear tufts typical of the Maine Coon Cats.
If Bean is the right cat for you, learn how to take him home HERE.
Pet Pride (Fairbanks)
Moss is one of our wonderful cats looking for a home. He has been in a foster home for almost a year now. The family has dogs and Moss does great with them. He loves to go outside everyday to hunt around the yard. He enjoys other cats and he would do fine with calm kids. If you would like to meet Moss please contact Meredith at 4518212 and she will get you in touch with his foster mom
