Take Me Home Tonight: Adoptable Pets from Alaska Shelters

Every week, I’m going to feature adoptable pets and events surrounding pet adoption from across Alaska. To the best of my knowledge, each of these pets are still available, and I encourage you to follow the links to find out more about these animals and the shelters that are caring for them.
Alaska Humane Society Adopt-A-Cat (Anchorage)

Meet Piper, a 6 yr old spayed short haired calico girl, all up to date on shots. She is in need of a loving home because she is a lovey dovey girl. Piper has a very good temperament and does not claw or bite. She has proved to do well around other cats but dogs in the home stress her out very much. She tends to be shy at first but once comfortable, she is a purring, snuggle machine.

Please meet Juno, a 4 year old, spayed female, Hound mix. Very friendly, happy and eager to please, Juno is playful, outgoing and active, and enjoys being with people. Rides fine in the car, and has been to obedience classes and the dog park. She has a great sense of smell, and loves her walks and outings. Beautiful girl with tons of personality! Juno can be adopted for $42, as she is already spayed and current on her vaccinations. Her adoption fees include her MOA dog license and microchip.
