Alaska Bird Club

Quakers and Cockatiels
Quakers and Cockatiels

A pet shop in Soldotna closed down, leaving a room full of free-flighted quakers and cockatiels needing homes. Some of the birds are missing toes and feet due to the free-flight situation (landing on bigger birds’ cages). These birds need homes ASAP. Please contact the Alaska Bird Club at akbirdclub@yahoo.com or 907.868.9070. (Or click here to find out more.)
Alaska’s Extended Life Animal Sanctuary (Nikiski)
Dollie
Dollie

Dolly is very shy but very loving. She loves other cats and dogs if they are nice to her. Almost 2 years old, she is a character when she feels comfortable with your company. It will take someone wanting a little project, with patience, to befriend this little cat. That is why she is special needs. She has a little kink in her tail which tells us mom didn’t get good nutrition while she carried Dolly. She has had a rough start and needs just to be loved and cared for by adults, no children please. Click here to find out how to bring this loving girl home.

She will gently head bump them to let them know to keep up the petting! Terrora dreams of a day when she will have her own home to stay warm and safe, and her own person to love. if you are looking for a sweet, gentle and quiet companion, please come in and meet Terrora! Pet Pride (Fairbanks)
Ellie Mae
Ellie Mae

Ellie Mae is a sweet girl who is looking for a small family to join! She is a very loving dog who is shy but thoroughly enjoys human companionship! Ellie Mae is completely housebroken and walks nicely on a leash. She plays well with other dogs, and has done well with cats in friends’€™ homes. Ellie Mae is happy to sleep on the couch if her people allow, although a dog bed will suite her just fine! She needs to be in a crate when left alone at home as Ellie Mae does have some anxiety and at times will chew things she shouldn’€™t. She is a quiet dog who only barks at important times or when she’€™s playing! Ellie Mae bonds more easily to women; however any patient person who opens their heart to her will be rewarded with a wonderful friendship! Click here to find out how to bring this sweet girl home.
