This is part two of my Potter Creek to McHugh trail walk – if you missed part one – check it out here.
One thing I will tell anyone taking this hike: watch out for bears. I had a very, very far-too-close call with a mamma and her two cubs. Luckily, she didn’t make eye contact with me until I had passed her and had a good amount of trees between us. You won’t find any photos here of the bears…as I was not sticking around to take them. Enjoy!
Delicious! I adored that stretch of Turnagain Arm. Also had a run-in with a Black bear in that immediate area. Because it all worked out well, I’m thrilled to have had the experience (but wouldn’t want to repeat it). Heh. Lovely photographs and a nice reminder of my northern home.
